How do we do it?

Firstly all existing soils and old grass is to be removed when replacing an existing lawn.  We then dig down to a depth of 70mm, levelling off the existing soils.  We then bring in 50mm of rock base which is then levelled and compacted leaving a smooth base for our synthetic grass to be installed on.

The synthetic grass is then rolled out over the space required and fixed to the ground or edging using pegs or screws.  The grass is then stretched to fit to avoid any unevenness and to ensure even distribution.

The grass is then cut along the edges to make the exact fit for the area that we are to cover.  Special cutting equipment is used to ensure a neat clean finish.

Sand is then spread over the area of grass, covering around 10mm this is to hold down the grass in place and to stop it from expanding.  We use a special machine here to fluff up the grass and spread the sand evenly.

Now 10mm of fine rubber particles are installed over the sand layer, giving the grass that soft on the foot feel and makes sure your grass is presented well for many years to come.  And there you have it the perfect lawn!
